Want to know what it takes to start a successful business after finishing your MBA?
From identifying a profitable niche, to obtaining funding, to landing your first client, the MBASA Entrepreneurship Panel will draw on our guests' personal experience with the challenges of starting a company from scratch after completing their Telfer MBA.
The Entrepreneurship Panel will be held on Thursday, March 2 from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM in DMS 4140. The MBASA is excited to host an outstanding group of panelists for this event:
Dan Moorcroft, CEO/COO & Co-Founder, QMR Consulting & Professional Staffing (Telfer MBA '97)
Jesse Moon, Co-Founder, OpenLot (Telfer MBA '13)
Kevin Smiley, Founder & President, SuraiTea Inc. (Telfer MBA '16)
The format for the event is a panel discussion led by a moderator followed by an opportunity for networking and further discussion. Free food and beverages will be provided for all attendees.
The Telfer Leadership Series presented by the MBA Student Association brings together local business leaders to discuss careers in Canada's capital. This is the second event of the year.
