Entrepreneurship Bridges Lecture Series: David Segal

Entrepreneurship Bridges is a series of five free events that promote entrepreneurism, provide start up and new venture advice and access to a community of entrepreneurs. The program is a joint initiative between the University of Ottawa’s Entrepreneurship Hub, the Faculty of Engineering, Start up Garage, the Entrepreneur’s Club and the Telfer School of Management.

David SegalFeaturing guest speaker: David Segal, Co-founder of DAVIDsTEA and Founder of Mad Radish

David Segal is an entrepreneur and retail thought-leader, best known as the co-founder of the loose leaf chain DAVIDsTEA and the founder of Mad Radish. During his time at DAVIDsTEA, David grew the brand from a single store to a $200 million company traded publicly on the NASDAQ. With Mad Radish, David is bringing a fresh focus on innovation, food quality and customer experience to the salad restaurant category. By combining fine dining-quality ingredients, quick-service efficiency and passionate company culture, David is quickly growing Mad Radish into one of the most buzzed-about places to eat – and to work – in Ottawa.
