The Telfer Career Centre invites you to the 2018 edition of their annual winter recruitment and networking event.

Telfer Networks is the ideal opportunity for recruiters interested in meeting current business students and soon-to-graduate students, and wanting to optimize their brand on campus.


Student demographic
You will meet hundreds of first-, second-, third- and fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce students from the following options: accounting, finance, human resources, international management, management, marketing, and management information systems and analytics.

These commerce students are seeking casual, part-time and summer employment, and soon-to-graduate business students and alumni are seeking full-time employment or internship opportunities.

Due to limited space, booth, kiosks or large displays will not be permitted. The allocated space is approximately 150 cm x 175 cm (5 x 6 feet), with two bistro tables and two stools. We highly recommend that you bring only one roll-up banner, and brochures/other small promotional items.

The event format will allow employers to network throughout the day, and you will be invited to have a warm lunch anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in a different room from the main event. Please note that the event will remain open during lunch.

Early bird registration: $400.00 (tax included), on or before December 22, 2017 
Regular registration: $450.00 (tax included), after December 22, 2017

Registration includes:

  • Two assigned bistro tables and two stools; access to one electrical outlet 
  • Lunch for all registered representatives (up to a maximum of 4)
  • Coffee and refreshments served throughout the event
  • Wireless Internet access 
  • Event promotion to students through our website, social media, event posters and emails, offering you on-campus visibility

  • Educate students on your hiring practices, desired skills, and recruiting cycle;

8:30 a.m. - Set-up and networking breakfast with other employers
10 a.m. - Beginning of event (arrival of students)
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Lunch in a different room (the event will not shut down for a lunch break)
2 p.m. - Closing of event (departure of students) and tear-down
