Telfer Executive Breakfast Series: Leadership: Subtleties of Ethical Decision-Making

Thursday, October 20, 2016, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

This session will explore the subtle roles that leaders play in modeling and guiding the culture of their organizations related to ethics. Employees pay great attention to how top leaders approach major decisions, but they pay even more attention to the lead of managers as it relates to business situations they confront on a daily basis. It is these more mundane and common decision dilemmas that form the underlying operating culture of the organization. It is these choice-points that leaders have to be aware of and use strategically to guide their organizations forward.

The session will challenge participants to think about alternative approaches to common business dilemmas based on four frames of reference conceptualized by Mr. Pierre Lecours, Director of Executive Leadership Development at Health Canada. Please come prepared to participate actively.
