The Telfer School of Management presents Perspectives about Women’s Enterprise.  This speaker series features expert presentations about entrepreneurship and innovation, viewed through a gender lens.

Join us on November 14 for a presentation by Dr. Susan Coleman, as well as the Canadian launch of her book The Next Wave: Financing Women’s Growth-Oriented Firms (Coleman & Robb, 2016). A panel discussion will take place after the presentation.

This presentation offers new insights about how women entrepreneurs are using creativity and strategy to fund enterprise growth, across different sectors and economies. The presentation will also highlight key takeaways about managing growth capital from Dr. Coleman’s new book, The Next Wave: Financing Women's Growth-Oriented Firms. 

About Dr. Susan Coleman

Dr. Susan Coleman

Dr. Susan Coleman holds the Ansley Chair of Finance at the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business where she teaches courses in entrepreneurial and corporate finance.  Dr. Coleman’s research interests include entrepreneurial and small business finance, and she has published extensively on the topic of financing women-owned firms. She is also the co-author of A Rising Tide: Financing Strategies for Women-owned Firms (Coleman & Robb, 2012).
