The Telfer School of Management presents Perspectives about Women’s Enterprise. This speaker series features expert presentations about entrepreneurship and innovation, viewed through a gender lens.

Please join us on Friday, December 2, 2016 for a presentation by Dr. Ruta AidisMapping the Gendered Ecosystem: The evolution of the Global Women Entrepreneur Leaders Scorecard. This event is in partnership with the Management Research Seminar Series (MRSS).

What gets measured counts! Gender-blind impact measures do not adequately support women’s enterprise development. The Global Women Entrepreneur Leaders Scorecard has raised awareness and identified actionable steps to better leverage women’s entrepreneurship in over 30 countries. Learn about an innovative initiative that is transforming entrepreneurship policy and programming.

Dr. Ruta Aidis

Ruta Aidis, Ph.D. is a Senior Fellow at The Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University and Founding CEO of ACG Inc., a global research and consultancy firm. Dr. Aidis is an expert in comparative entrepreneurship development, gender, institutions and public policy. Sponsored by Dell, Inc., from 2013 to 2015, she spearheaded the development of the Global Women Entrepreneur Leaders Scorecard.
