2017 Hult Prize @ uOttawa (Information Session)

Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2017 Hult Prize @ uOttawa!  Will you be the next winner to receive $1 million to launch your social business idea?

What is the Hult Prize?

It is the world’s largest student competition that aims to create and launch the most compelling social business ideas. It has been called the ‘Nobel Prize’ for students, and awards one million dollars in start-up funding to the team of students that develops the most radical and breakthrough idea to solve one of our world’s toughest social challenges. This year’s challenge is to create sustainable, scalable social enterprises that can restore the rights and dignity of 10 million refugees by 2022 (you can read more here on this challenge, that was selected by Bill Clinton – who is a Hult Prize partner).

Interested? Come visit our info session at FTX 570 on Wednesday, November 2nd from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to learn about this opportunity (there will be food). No prior experience in social impact or business necessary! For more details, visit the facebook event. Throughout this month, we will have sessions and workshops to help you craft your idea, and link you with mentors.
